The day was split across four different key GYEON areas; coatings, maintenance washing, interior and polishing.
Coatings
GYEON offers a range of Ceramics Coatings, but which one is right for you, there are a number of differences that makes each of them a little unique.
CAN COAT
The most ‘basic’ of the range but also the most versatile. Can Coat has good durability and can also be applied to paint, trim, rims, metal, carbon fibre or PPF/vinyl, in a large bottle that provides huge value for money.
PURE
PURE is a more traditional thicker style of coating. It offer great gloss and pop to metallic colours, whilst also being one of the most resistant to chemicals and water spots.
MOHS
MOHS is easy to apply, and also delivers huge depth and gloss especially for dark colours. Whilst one layer works really well, two layers can extend the durability up to 4 years.
SYNCRO
SYNCRO is the ultimate DIY at home coating. SYNCRO is a two-step system offering both MOHS and a second coating SKIN to create a super-glossy, long lasting and super durable coating.
Maintenance Washing
Maintaining your car's finish, whether it be ceramic coated, PPF or simply just factory finish, is the most important way to ensure you protect it from long lasting damage. The GYEON Maintenance Wash can be split into these different processes.
Wheels and Tyres
Kicking off any good wash is of course your wheels and tyres, GYEON splits these two up with their GYEON Iron Wheel Cleaner and GYEON Tire Cleaner. Tires can then be locked in with Q2 Tire or Tire Express.
Foam
The most fun part of the process, Foam! GYEON Q2 Foam removes any surface sediment and is safe on all surfaces and coatings. Alternatively, Bathe Restart is a good option for periodic use.
Shampoo
Once Foam has rinsed, a simple shampoo wash is best. Using the Two Bucket method, paired with Q2 Bathe (everyday), Restart (periodic decontamination), Bathe+ (add hydrophobicity)
Ceramic Maintenance/Enhancing
Finally, once washed, a GYEON booster such as Q2M WetCoat or Ceramic Detailer can be applied to the car, leaving a glossy, shiny hydrophobic finish.
Polishing
Polishing can vary depending on the paint’s condition, depth and manufacturer. GYEON's polishing process offers a range of Compounds to Primer to suit every car’s needs.
Compound
Compound and Compound+ are cutting or strong polishes. These are best used for removing paint scratches and deep marring. Both are low dust formula and will correct any paint very efficiently.
Polish
Polish is a hologram free, deep gloss creating formula. It still has a decent amount of cutting effect for small defects, but this is all about the gloss and developing an insane shine.
Primer
Q2 Primer has a low-cut level, but huge glossing ability. Plus, it is infused with SiO2, leaving an extremely hydrophobic and shiny finish, making it perfect for use before applying a ceramic coating.
Interiors
Looking after your car’s interior can be a delicate and complicated process. With the everchanging and growing number of materials and finishes used on interiors; ensuring you use the correct products to keep them in factory condition is essential.
Leather
Leather needs both cleaning and protection. Both Leather Cleaners are safe, but Leather Mild is suited to nearly new cars, while Leather Strong can work wonders on older (2+ years). These should be used regularly and always before applying a protection. Leather Coat is a convenient, cost-effective leather sealant for every day. Q2 LeatherShield is a really durable ceramic coating especially formulated for all types of leather.
Fabric
Cleaning and protection is also advised. Fabric Cleaner is a easy to use cleaner for most interior fabrics for regular and spot cleaning. Fabric Coat is an extremely hydrophobic, spray on coating, for fabric surfaces, that will protect seats, trim and finishes from spills, stains and UV.
Interior Detailer
General cleaning is sorted easily with Interior Detailer, a simple spray for most internal surfaces; removing fingerprints, dust, and grime, whilst leaving a smear-free, anti-static finish.
