Step-by-Step Instructions for a Complete GYEON Wash

In this guide we’ll walk through the entire Gyeon wash process from start to finish and go over the products that you’ll need for your car. Wheels and Tires
Before starting the washing process, ensure that your wheels and brakes have fully cooled down. Begin by pressure washing the wheels and wheel arches to remove debris. Apply Q2M Iron Wheel Cleaner generously and let it sit for 3 to 4 minutes without allowing it to dry. Use the Q2M WheelBrush to brush on the solution and agitate it with the Q2M WheelMitt. For the inside wheel barrel, utilize the Q2M WheelBrush. Rinse thoroughly. Apply Q2M TireCleaner on the tires, agitate with the Q2M TireBrush, and rinse. Clean each wheel individually.
Pre-Wash
We recommend using Q2M Bug&Grime on areas where there are bug splatters or heavy/oily road films. If you have a foam lance, fill it with diluted Q2M Foam (ratio of 1:5 to 1:15) and apply it generously from the bottom to the top of your vehicle. Allow it to sit for 3 to 4 minutes, effectively loosening dirt and debris from the paintwork. Rinse thoroughly. Confirm that your vehicle is now free from dirt and debris before proceeding to the next step.
Wash and Decontamination
Use the two-bucket method by filling both buckets with 10 litres of water. In one of the buckets, add 15ml of Q2M RestartWash. Commence the vehicle wash from the top, moving in straight lines. Use either the Q2M Smoothie or Q2M WashPad, rinsing the mitt after each panel. Avoid allowing the shampoo to dry and rinse thoroughly. Every three months, it is advisable to perform a chemical decontamination procedure. Apply Q2M Iron on a cool, damp vehicle, allowing it to dwell without drying. Rinse thoroughly and reapply if needed. Proceed with the wash, utilizing Q2M Bathe or Q2M RestartWash. After washing the car, spray Q2M Tar on the lower sections, allowing it to dwell for 1 to 2 minutes before rinsing heavily. Chemical decontamination eliminates deep-seated contaminants, revitalizing the initial hydrophobicity of your coating.
Protection
To enhance the water repellence and shine of your vehicle during the washing process, you can substitute Q2M Bathe with Q2M Bathe+, a hydrophobic shampoo infused with SiO2. Drying
Opt for the Q2M SilkDryer and carefully dry your vehicle's paintwork using a straight motion from top to bottom. Avoid applying pressure during the drying process to prevent potential damage. It is advisable to use separate drying towels specifically designated for the paintwork, wheels, and lower parts, ensuring safe and effective drying. Never interchange towels between rims and paint surfaces. After each use, wash all accessories thoroughly. Maintain your towels and wash mitts in pristine condition by utilizing Q2M TowelWash.
