Together we have combined the Grit Guard Washboard & Bucket Inserts to work in conjunction together in your bucket to separate the grit, dirt and debris from your wash mitt. Like its bigger brother, the Washboard Insert has been designed so it has no flat surfaces for dirt, debris or grit to be collected.

All contaminants are easily and effortlessly extracted from your wash mitt while rubbing them downward stroke against your Washboard Insert.

We all know that the common cause of swirls, scratches and marring on your paint is caused by improper wash techniques, in combination with your 2 bucket wash method, grit guard & washboard insert with a soft microfibre or lambswool mitt you effectively eliminate any chances of damaging your cars paintwork during the wash process.

Step 1: Prepare Your Wash Bucket

Start by preparing your wash bucket. Fill the bucket with water and add your preferred car wash shampoo according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 2: Place the Grit Guard Bucket Insert

Insert the Grit Guard Bucket Insert at the bottom of your wash bucket. The Grit Guard acts as a barrier to prevent dirt, grit, and debris from circulating back into your wash mitt.

Step 3: Secure the Washboard Insert

Secure the Washboard Insert onto the Grit Guard Bucket Insert. Make sure it fits snugly and sits flat, with no gaps or wobbling.

Step 4: Wet Your Wash Mitt

Thoroughly wet your wash mitt before starting the wash process. This helps to loosen any initial dirt or contaminants.

Step 5: Rub Wash Mitt Against the Washboard Insert

While washing your vehicle, periodically rub your wash mitt against the Washboard Insert in a downward stroke motion.

This action helps to extract and trap dirt, grit, and debris from the wash mitt, preventing them from reintroducing into the paintwork.

Step 6: Rinse the Wash Mitt

After each stroke against the Washboard Insert, rinse your wash mitt in the clean water above the Grit Guard Bucket Insert.

By rinsing the wash mitt in the clean water, you remove the contaminants and prevent them from contaminating the wash solution.

Step 7: Continue Washing with the Clean Mitt

Once rinsed, dip the clean wash mitt back into the soapy water and continue washing your vehicle.

Repeat the process of rubbing against the Washboard Insert and rinsing the mitt as needed.

Step 8: Complete the Wash Process

Continue washing your vehicle, ensuring that you always rinse the wash mitt and rub against the Washboard Insert to remove any trapped contaminants.

Step 9: Rinse the Grit Guard and Washboard Inserts

After completing the wash, rinse the Grit Guard and Washboard Inserts to remove any accumulated dirt or debris.

Ensure that they are clean before storing them for future use.
