Gyeon Q² FabricCoat offers a semi-permanent water and dirt repellent barrier (6 months+) on all automotive and marine textiles, both for interior and exterior.

Using the latest in low volatile content silicon (Si) technology to lay down a film of dimethylsiloxane polymers that condense rapidly to form a highly flexible SiO2 coating that bond to fabrics at the molecular level.

Gyeon Q² FabricCoat will protect your fabric trim, seating and other textiles and leave them hydrophobic and virtually impervious to liquids, grime, dirt, transfer of dye. In addition, this will block out UV radiation from the sun, and thus helping prevent fabrics from fading/discoloring over time.

Q² FabricCoat creates a strong invisible coating, which protects fabrics not only against dirt and liquids but also against harmful UV rays which can fade them during extended exposure to sunlight. With good coverage and excellent protection for up to 6 months, Q² FabricCoat offers a high-grade solution for your fabric and textiles. For use on most woven fabrics and textiles, Q² FabricCoat helps keep these surfaces cleaner for longer and also makes them much easier to clean, whether inside or outside your car.

This coating is superhydrophobic, ˜throwing water and liquids off fabric and textiles - even for fabric convertible roofs a high-pressure rinse once a month can be enough to keep the fabric clean and looking great. The advanced formula creates a hydrophobic barrier that repels water and other liquids, preventing them from penetrating the fabric and causing damage. This coating also helps to maintain the breathability of the fabric, allowing air to flow freely and keeping the fabric feeling fresh and comfortable. Gyeon Q² Fabric Coat does not affect the look, feel, color of the fabric, or texture of your fabrics.

The coating is easy to apply and dries quickly. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including convertible tops, carpets, and upholstery, and provides long-lasting protection that keeps your fabrics looking and feeling like new for longer.

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Before applying Gyeon Q2 Fabric Coat, the surface must be clean, dry, and free of any contaminants. Use Gyeon Q2M Fabric Cleaner or other suitable fabric cleaner to ensure that the surface is ready for application. Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: Shake the Bottle

Shake the bottle well before use to ensure that the product is properly mixed.

Step 3: Application

Apply Gyeon Q2 Fabric Coat in a well-ventilated area using a microfiber applicator. Apply a small amount of product onto the applicator and spread the product evenly onto the surface using a criss-cross motion. Make sure to apply the product thinly and evenly to avoid over-saturation of the fabric.

Step 4: Drying Time

After application, allow the surface to dry completely for at least 2 hours in a dry and dust-free environment. Avoid exposing the surface to any moisture or rain during this time. After 2 hours, the coating will be fully cured and ready for use.

Allow a full day to dry to ensure best performance and durability. For any excess spray on trim, plastics or leather we recommend using a soft microfibre cloth to gently wipe away product.

Step 5: Optional Second Layer

If desired, a second layer of Gyeon Q2 Fabric Coat can be applied after the first layer has fully cured. Simply repeat steps 3 and 4 to apply the second layer.

Step 6: Maintenance

To maintain the coating, use Gyeon Q2M Fabric Cleaner or other suitable fabric cleaner. This will help to extend the life of the coating and keep the surface looking its best.
