Q ² LeatherShield is an advanced, SiO‚‚ based formula, specially developed for all types of modern automotive leather upholstery. It provides superb protection against dirt, UV rays and the rigours of everyday usage. Q ² LeatherShield is amazingly simple to apply, requiring only one layer. It designed for and been tested on all modern types of leather, providing great protection and no change of feel or color, leaving a fully matte finish. Q ² LeatherShield does not stiffen the leather or make it more slippery, maintaining the regular comfort of use. The advanced formula creates a strong barrier against water, dirt, and UV rays, preventing damage and discoloration caused by environmental factors.

The protectant is designed to preserve the original texture and softness of the leather. Ensure you clean the leather well and remove any excess of your cleaner. We highly recommend the use of one of our Q ²M LeatherCleaners. Make sure you proceed with a test panel before you apply the product to the whole upholstery. TIP: Apply the product to one panel at a time and ensure even coverage. Do not wipe off. If you see the product drying unevenly, level the product without adding any more liquid. Check after 20 minutes, if necessary - wipe.

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Before applying Gyeon Q2 Leather Shield, the leather surface must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased using Gyeon Q2M Leather Cleaner or other suitable leather cleaner. Ensure that the surface is completely dry before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: Shake the Bottle

Shake the bottle well before use to ensure that the product is properly mixed.

Step 3: Application

Apply Gyeon Q2 Leather Shield in a well-ventilated area using the supplied suede applicator. Apply a small amount of product onto the applicator and spread the product evenly onto the surface using a circular motion. Make sure to apply the product thinly and evenly to avoid over-saturation of the leather.

Step 4: Drying Time

After application, allow the surface to dry completely for at least 1 hour in a dry and dust-free environment. Avoid exposing the surface to any moisture or rain during this time. After 1 hour, the coating will be fully cured and ready for use.

Step 5: Optional Second Layer

If desired, a second layer of Gyeon Q2 Leather Shield can be applied after the first layer has fully cured. Simply repeat steps 3 and 4 to apply the second layer.

Step 6: Maintenance

To maintain the coating, use Gyeon Q2M Leather Cleaner or other suitable leather cleaner. This will help to extend the life of the coating and keep the leather looking its best.
