A major benefit of Q² Matte EVO is its neutral finish on matte or satin paints. Its silicon dioxide (SiO2) based formula has been specially designed to provide high UV and chemical protection combined with great self-cleaning properties on the very demanding structure of matte paintwork. The Q² Matte EVO kit also includes our special hydrophobic spray-sealant/ceramic detailer formulated for matte paints - Q²M Cure Matte along with all the required applicators and a product-specific user manual.

All EVO formulas can be applied outdoors. Ensure stable conditions, never use in direct sunlight and check the weather forecast! The coating should not get wet in the first 12 hours after application.

Q² Matte EVO for matte & satin finishes. It, therefore, provides incredible durability in comparison with regular coating products. Self-cleaning and beading performance has also been greatly improved when compared with standard coatings used on this very specific surface. The product provides long-lasting protection and requires minimal maintenance. It also helps to preserve the value of the vehicle by preventing damage to the matte finish.

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Before applying Gyeon Q2 Matte EVO Light, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased using Gyeon Q2M Prep or other suitable paint cleaner. Ensure that the surface is completely dry before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: Shake the Bottle

Shake the bottle well before use to ensure that the product is properly mixed.

Step 3: Application

Apply Gyeon Q2 Matte EVO Light in a well-ventilated area using the supplied suede applicator. Apply a small amount of product onto the applicator and spread the product evenly onto the surface using a circular motion. Make sure to apply the product thinly and evenly to avoid over-saturation of the surface.

Step 4: Drying Time

After application, allow the surface to dry completely for at least 1 hour in a dry and dust-free environment. Avoid exposing the surface to any moisture or rain during this time. After 1 hour, the coating will be fully cured and ready for use.

Step 5: Optional Second Layer

If desired, a second layer of Gyeon Q2 Matte EVO Light can be applied after the first layer has fully cured. Simply repeat steps 3 and 4 to apply the second layer.

Step 6: Maintenance

Use Gyeon Q2M Cure Matte as a protective layer after application plus other suitable pH-neutral car shampoo as maintenance. Avoid using any abrasive or alkaline cleaners that could damage the coating.
