The Mint ProTools RO Polisher DAS6-Pro V2 is a Random Orbital Polisher specifically designed for polishing & correcting car paint. It is extremely easy to use and purposely designed for the enthusiast market and cannot burn, harm or damage paintwork due to the Random Orbital / Dual Action action.

The original DAS6-PRO was the second RO Polisher launched in Australia back in 2012, after the success of its baby brother the original DAS6. The DAS6-PRO offered the same great design but with more power! This dual action machine offers 900W to get the job done a bit faster. The V2 is still easy to use; but now offers a more refined gearing and more ergonomic - all making polishing faster and more pleasant user experience.

Gyeon Q2M Compound Plus offers more bite than Gyeon Compound and is ideally suited to harder paints including ceramic paints such as found on European make. Compound+ offers a safe yet effective way to quickly & easily remove 1500 sanding marks, scratches, marring, oxidation and still retain a high gloss finish on most paint types
Gyeon Q2M Compound is an aggressive yet safe cutting paste, offering the ability to easily remove 1500 sanding marks, scratches, marring, oxidation and still retain a high gloss finish on most paints. Q2M Compound is water-based, low-dusting, silicone-free, contains no fillers and is made from the highest quality Japanese abrasives. This compound delivers excellent results on all paint types and in some instances can be used as a single-step polishes.
Gyeon Q2M Polish is an effective medium polish, designed to leave a hologram-free, deep glossy finish on all paint types. This polish can be used as a single-step for paintwork that only require a little attention or as a second step from Q2M Compound. Q2M Polish works well on all paint types including the softer Japanese paintwork and will remove any medium imperfections leaving a high gloss finish ready for application
Please note: as with all polishes best results are achieved once the surface has been prepared correctly (washed / clayed etc). Areas should be clean, dry and cool “ it is advisable to work undercover or in shade, with good lighting.
Step 1: Preparation
Before using the Mint ProTools RO Polisher DAS6-Pro V2, ensure that the car surface is clean and free of loose dirt or debris.
Step 2: Attaching Backing Plate
Choose the appropriate size of the backing plate based on the task at hand.
- For larger polishing areas, use the 5 inch / 125mm Velcro Backing Plate.
- For smaller or hard-to-reach areas, use the 3 inch / 75 mm Velcro Backing Plate.
- Attach the selected backing plate securely to the polisher's spindle using the provided spanner.
Step 3: Applying Polish
- Apply a small amount of polishing compound or polish onto the foam pad attached to the backing plate.
- Spread the polish evenly on the surface to be polished.
Step 4: Polishing Technique
Hold the Mint ProTools RO Polisher DAS6-Pro V2 firmly with both hands and follow these guidelines:
- Start the polisher on the lowest speed setting.
- Gently place the foam pad on the surface to be polished before turning on the polisher.
- Moving the polisher in a slow and controlled manner, work in small sections at a time.
- Apply light to moderate pressure and let the machine do the work.
- Overlap each pass to ensure even coverage and consistent results.
- Adjust the speed setting as needed based on the level of correction required.
Step 5: Finishing and Cleaning
After polishing the desired areas, turn off the Mint ProTools RO Polisher DAS6-Pro V2 and follow these steps:
- Wipe off any excess polish residue using a clean microfiber towel.
- Clean the foam pad by rinsing it with water and a mild detergent, then allow it to air dry before reuse.
