The new Mint Protools ROD (Random Orbital Design) Orange Polishing is a 100mm foam polishing pad designed to remove light to medium paint imperfections including hologramming.

This pad suits all all large throw Random Orbital Dual Action Polishers such as the RUPES Bigfoot LHR75, Mint ProTools Mini Polisher.

All Mint ROD Pads have been designed with tapered finish with a 100mm face and a 75mm velcro back to provide better control, stability and balance while polishing. Combined with a center hole to provide up to 10% cooler running during the polishing & correction process. This offers better heat dispersal to provide longer life and durability for the pads.

For best results, we recommend using this ROD 100mm Polishing Pad in conjunction with a quality polishing compound such as Menzerna PF2400 or Gyeon Quartz Polish to remove light to medium defects including hologramming. This pad can also be used on certain paints a medium-one-step polish.

This pad suits both Rotary and Dual Action machines, attaches via the Velcro back and is designed to work with a 3" (75mm) backing plate.

Step 1: Prepare the Surface
