The Mint ProTools White Polishing Diamond Cut Pad is a universal pad that is perfect for general polishing, whilst offers a unique diamond cut design on the pad which gives less surface tension for a smoother result. It is designed to cut through light surface marks and swirls. This medium density foam pad will work well on light oxidation and is ideal for a second stage to develop gloss levels after using the Blue pad for heavy cutting.
This White Polishing Pad has been designed with a 10mm contoured recess ensuring you polish flat and evenly across the paint surface, together with the ability to load the pad and centre it perfectly every time.

This pad suits Rotary Polishers only (not Dual Action machines) and attaches via the Velcro back and is designed to work with a 7" (175mm) backing plate. This Pad will work on a 3M Hook & Loop Backing Plate (3M 5718).

Step 1: Prepare Your Polishing Machine
Before using the Mint ProTools White Polishing Diamond Pad 8", ensure your polishing machine is properly set up. Attach the backing plate securely and ensure it is compatible with the pad size. Adjust the speed and settings according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 2: Apply Polishing Compound

Step 5: Work in Sections

Step 6: Check Your Progress
Regularly stop the machine and wipe off the residue to inspect your progress. Assess the level of correction and adjust your technique if necessary. If additional polishing is required, repeat the process in the same section or move on to the next section.
Step 7: Clean the Pad
After each section or when the pad becomes clogged with residue, stop the machine and clean the Mint ProTools White Polishing Diamond Pad 8". Rinse it with water to remove any excess polishing compound. Gently squeeze out any excess water and continue polishing.
Step 8: Repeat if Necessary
If further polishing is needed, repeat the process with the Mint ProTools White Polishing Diamond Pad 8". Adjust the speed, apply more compound if needed, and continue working in sections until you achieve the desired results.
Step 9: Clean and Store the Pad
After use, clean the Mint ProTools White Polishing Diamond Pad 8" using a pad cleaning solution or mild detergent. Rinse it well to remove any residue and gently squeeze out excess water. Allow it to air dry completely before storing it in a clean and dry place.
