Step 1: Prepare the surface

Make sure the surface is cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight. Wash the surface with a high-quality car shampoo and dry it thoroughly before proceeding.

Step 2: Select the appropriate pad

Select the appropriate foam pad for the job. For heavy defects, use a cutting pad. For less severe defects, use a polishing pad.

Step 3: Apply the compound

Apply a small amount of SONAX PROFILINE Ultimate Cut to the foam pad. Spread the compound evenly across the pad before placing it on the surface to be treated.

Step 4: Work the compound into the surface

Work the compound into the surface using a dual-action polisher or rotary buffer. Apply light to medium pressure and work in a crosshatch pattern to ensure even coverage. Keep the pad flat and do not apply too much pressure in one area.

Step 5: Wipe away residue

Wipe away any residue with a clean microfiber towel before it dries. Do not let the compound dry on the surface.

Step 6: Inspect the surface

Inspect the surface to ensure that the defect has been removed. If necessary, repeat the process with additional passes using fresh compound and pad.

Step 7: Finish with a polish and wax

After using SONAX PROFILINE Ultimate Cut, follow up with a polishing compound and a wax or sealant to protect the surface and enhance its shine.
