Step 1: Prepare the Surface

Ensure that the surface you want to protect is clean, dry, and free from any dirt, debris, or contaminants.

Step 2: Measure and Cut

Measure the area of the surface you want to cover and cut the XPEL Surface Protection Film to the desired size. For this product, the film is 6" or 15cm wide and 60" or 150cm long.

Step 3: Peel the Backing

Carefully peel off the backing of the XPEL Surface Protection Film, exposing the adhesive side.

Step 4: Apply the Film

Align the film with the surface, starting from one end. Slowly and evenly apply the film onto the surface, using a squeegee or your fingers to press out any air bubbles as you go.

Step 5: Smooth and Secure

Once the film is applied, use a squeegee or a clean, soft cloth to smooth out any remaining air bubbles and ensure proper adhesion to the surface. Pay special attention to the edges to ensure a secure fit.

Step 6: Trim Excess Film (Optional)

If needed, trim any excess film using a sharp knife or scissors to achieve a precise fit and finish.

Step 7: Allow to Cure
