Step 1: Clean the Surface
Before applying XPEL Paint Protection Film Sealant, make sure the surface of your paint protection film is clean and dry. Use a gentle car wash soap and water to clean the surface, and dry it thoroughly with a microfiber towel.
Step 2: Apply the Sealant
Shake the XPEL Paint Protection Film Sealant bottle well before use. Apply a small amount of the sealant onto a foam applicator pad and apply it to the surface of your paint protection film using circular motions. Work in small sections to ensure complete coverage.
Step 3: Let It Dry
Allow the sealant to dry for 5-10 minutes. It should appear hazy and slightly white once it has dried.
Step 4: Buff the Surface
Using a clean microfiber towel, buff the surface of your paint protection film until it is completely clear and glossy. Be sure to remove any excess sealant to prevent streaking or smudging.
Step 5: Repeat as Needed
If you want to achieve an even higher level of protection, you can repeat steps 2-4 to apply an additional coat of XPEL Paint Protection Film Sealant. Be sure to let each coat dry completely before applying the next.
